Are you a First-Year Student?
You are considered a First-Year Student if you have:
- Earned a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED) before enrolling at Penn State Scranton
- Attempted fewer than 18 college credits after your high school graduation
- Taken courses at another college or university before graduating from high school
What can I major in at Penn State Scranton?
More than 275 Penn State majors can be started at Penn State Scranton, and completed at University Park or another Penn State location. 14 baccalaureate degrees can be completed at the Scranton campus, as well as four associate degrees, and a variety of minors.
